I am asking for prayers for my mother. She is on hospice care; she is dying. She is in the end stages of dementia..unable to take care of any of her basic needs. She is no longer eating...the end is near. We love her so very much and pray for a peaceful, painless passing. I am hoping that people will keep her in their thoughts and their prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I went through the same experience with my dad a couple of years ago. One the one hand, I wanted to hold on to him as long as I could, but, the man I knew as Daddy, had left us several years earlier so, as hard as it was, it was a blessing. Be strong and remember her as she was.
Thank you Cathie! I am trying to be strong, but it is hard to know that even though I see my mother's face I will never have another conversation with her...I probably will never hear her voice again. I know you understand and I am sorry for your loss. I am grateful for your comforting words and your prayers!
